Dr. Dale C. Holly is a dedicated physician and patient advocate who has provided outstanding patient care with a personal touch for 2 decades. A native of Arkansas, Dr. Holly witnessed firsthand the disparities in access and quality of healthcare in poor and rural communities in his home state. As a result of his vast experience, he has spent his entire career attempting to make a difference “one patient at a time”.
He is currently a partner physician with Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, one of the largest gastrointestinal practices in the country. He has served on his practice’s
Physician Executive Committee in the past helping to establish policy and governance for the practice. His exposure to being on this committee further prepared him to acquire the complex understanding of the social, personal and business aspects that are a requisite to cultivate a progressive, successful medical practice.
In 2012, Dr. Holly was recognized as one of Atlanta’s 25 most influential African American physicians at the Black Health Medical Research Foundation’s 4th Annual
National Black Health Awards Banquet. These awards acknowledge physicians who have made significant contributions to medicine and their communities. In 2013, Dr. Holly anchored a radio show on health and wellness that aired on one of the local satellite radio stations, which allowed him to reach and educate a broader audience.
Providing “state of the art” healthcare to his patients and community service has been the cornerstone of his career. He has volunteered with Hosea Feed the Hungry, which provides meals, healthcare services, clothes and spiritual renewal to the homeless. Dr. Holly routinely participates in “Career Day” at local schools to help young people gain a greater understanding and appreciation for the importance of goal setting for the future. He has also participated in numerous health fairs and has worked with numerous churches to educate its constituents on gastrointestinal health and wellness.
Dr. Holly’s educational background includes obtaining his medical degree at the University of Arkansas College of Medicine. His post doctoral education includes completion of an internship and residency at Emory University. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Saint Louis University.
He is a diplomate of the American Subspecialty Board of Gastroenterology and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Holly has published several articles in journals.
Dr. Holly is a visionary that works tirelessly for his patients and their well being. His diverse life experiences and elite medical training has prepared him for current day and future challenges in the ever-changing landscape of healthcare.
Dr. Holly’s personal interests includes traveling, enhancing his sports’ history knowledge and spending quality time with his wife and 2 children.
