Gareth leads the global Microsoft Health Solutions team driving the worldwide solutions strategy with a focus on working with Microsoft product teams and partners to build solutions on the Microsoft cloud platforms. These solutions are relevant for health customers, including virtual health, clinical analytics and AI, patient engagement and cybersecurity. His team efforts improve health outcomes, while driving one of the fastest growing industries in Microsoft.
Previously, Gareth was responsible for marketing virtual desktops as part of the server and cloud marketing team at Microsoft in Redmond. VDI is one of the most interesting technologies in the infrastructure space. He was also responsible for the Windows Server Business for Microsoft UK, leading the virtual team across the subsidiary to meet revenue and market share goals.
