Dr. Kevin Soden is a former emergency room physician and an award winning medical journalist for over 25 years. He has appeared on CBS, NBC and the Today Show and now serves as the TV host for Healthline and Whole Body Health. His awards include Emmys, Telly’s, the 2008 CableFax award for best cable health show host, the 2008 and 2001 National Award for Excellence in Medical Reporting from the National Association of Medical Communicators. He currently serves as the worldwide Medical Director for Texas Instruments and the Cardinal Health corporations and teaches as a courtesy Professor at the Univ. of Florida College of Medicine. Kevin was also the founder and CEO of Health Care Savings -the oldest, largest, physician-owned managed care organization in the Carolinas.

Kevin has authored two best-selling books – The Art of Medicine and Special Treatment. He has contributed to numerous publications including A Practical Approach to Occupational and Environmental Medicine and is a regular contributor to numerous popular magazines.  He speaks frequently to consumers and business groups on a wide variety of general health topics including stress, humor and leadership. 

Soden graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine and is one of the original inductees into the UF Medical Wall of Fame. He also has a Masters in Public Health from the Medical College of Wisconsin and a Masters in Personnel Administration from Florida State University and a degree in history from Belmont Abbey College.
