Sharon M. Weinstein, MS, RN, CRNI-R, FACW, FAAN, CSP

Sharon M. Weinstein is CEO and Founder of SMW Group LLC, the Global Education Development Institute and Vice President of Lead4Excellence. She specializes in service excellence and stress/crisis management. For over three decades, she has worked with executives in the healthcare, hospitality, and human capital spaces across the country and around the globe. She directed the Office of International Affairs for Premier, Inc and designed the Foreign Patient Department at The Kremlin Hospital, Moscow. As a USAID subcontractor, she co-created the multidisciplinary healthcare infrastructure for the eleven new countries of the former Soviet Union. She holds the coveted Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation, the highest earned international recognition for professional speakers. She is one of three Fellows of the Academy of Nursing with this credential.

Author of over 154 peer-review manuscripts, and 12 books, Sharon has contributed to HuffPost and Forbes. Past President of the Infusion Nurses Society and past chair of the Certification Board, Sharon currently chairs the Certification Committee for the National Speakers Association.

A native of Philadelphia, Sharon completed her nursing education at Pennsylvania Hospital, followed by undergraduate and graduate degrees in Florida and Texas. She is a graduate of the Kellogg Executive Management Program, Northwestern University, Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Illinois College of Nursing, and a member of the Advisory Board of Purdue Global University College of Nursing. Sharon is a recipient of HCA’s Dr. Thomas Frist, Jr. Humanitarian Award and a Sharecare Nursing Expert.
